If the images in some of these tutorials seem simplistic, that's intentional.  They have been designed to help newer PSP5 users to learn the effective use of basic features without clouding the issue.  Hopefully, some of the concepts and techniques explained will encourage an innovative approach to creating original graphics.  So, please, use whatever you might learn here, or anywhere else, to do your own thing!

Most of the Hood tutorials use or rely on the use of layers.  Though I explain things pretty fully in the individual tutorials, it will help you (and me!) if you understand the basics before you start.  If you aren't familiar with layers, please go through the Introductory Layers Tutorial before emailing me.
