Djordje became seriously involved in painting in 1975 while living in Italy. At that time he was engaged in portrait painting. Many, including official critique and gallerists, have considered his portraiture amongst the best today.

Much of this time has been dominated by abstract art and not been supportive of a good living. Through the internet Djordje hopes to improve that situation.
