| Martin O'Sullivan Painter and Scenic Artist "My recent works have been mainly the large (700 x 900) "in-your-face" flower paintings where three or four blossoms fill the frame. They are acrylic on canvas where I try to keep the brushwork lively and visible while retaining a traditional and simple sense of form. I like to make the brushwork more impressionistic and the colours intense in these paintings. |

| Born
'62 in Manchester U.K., Martin has a B.A. in Fine Art from Goldsmiths
College, London and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from
Manchester University. Much of his work in U.K was for canvas and
gauze backgrounds for theatre and TV commercials, with a stints
as teacher, designer and art director. In 1996 Martin moved to Australia for travel and to paint his own work. He now finds that his paintings are selling and that he is a sought after scenic artist in the film and display industries... being called upon to reproduce whatever effects desired. Martin currently has his paintings hung in several prominent Sydney galleries and can be contacted for either his paintings or services through Art Dept by email.
